KIT & COPY — EDITING GUIDE

1. START WITH A COPY
Keep the original files. Duplicate a collection for each project.

2. EDIT YOUR WEBSITE
Open website/index.html in your browser to preview it. Open it in a plain-text or code editor to change the words. Search for EDIT comments, the example business name, and hello@example.com. Update the page title and description in the head. The contact button opens an email composer; replace its mailto address before publishing.
Change --accent and --pale near the top of styles.css for your brand colors. Keep the text readable. Upload index.html and styles.css together to a static website host. Domain registration and hosting are separate. These files do not automatically import into Carrd, Wix, or every other website builder.

3. EDIT YOUR DOCUMENTS
Open each DOCX in Microsoft Word or a compatible document editor. Replace every [bracketed field], example service description, scope, price, and date. Use the heading styles rather than manually resizing each heading. After editing, export a PDF and inspect every page: longer text may alter the layout. The included PDFs are examples of the original templates.

4. USE AI AS A DRAFTING ASSISTANT
The included prompts work with an AI assistant you choose. This pack does not include an AI subscription, API credits, or automatic generation. Never invent client testimonials, results, awards, experience, or guarantees. Check every output before using it.

5. CHECK BEFORE SHARING
Confirm the email and booking links work; inspect the webpage on a phone; check prices and dates; remove all template notes; verify claims; proofread the documents; confirm licenses for any assets you add.

ACCESSIBILITY
Keep the skip link, semantic headings, keyboard focus visibility, and readable contrast. Give any images you add meaningful alternative text when needed. Test with keyboard navigation and 200% browser zoom.

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED
A domain, hosting service, bespoke development, third-party software, paid assets, legal advice, or a promise of business results. Proposal templates are scope summaries, not complete legal contracts.
